About San Diego

San Diego is the second largest city in California and the United State’s seventh largest. With over 2.8 million residents residents countywide. San Diego has 18 cities and various communities including historic Gaslamp, Little Italy, La Jolla, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Coronado, La Mesa, Oceanside, Escondido, Chula Vista, Encinitas and more.

The East County of San Diego varies in terrain from gentle foothills to mile-high mountains. Visit the historic mining town, Julian, and 600,000 acre Anza Borrengo Desert State Park, or to North County to see the agricultural community which produces large quantities of flowers and magnificent produce. Along the coast, 70 miles of Pacific Ocean supports year round recreations such as boating, sailing, swimming and surfing.
